Minister for Labor, Employment and Transport of Bagmati Pradesh Ghanshyam Dahal has expressed commitment to take initiative to adjust the fare of petroleum products along with the increase in the price of petroleum products. He informed that preparations are being made to increase the transport fare on the basis of need. He said, “Along with the increase in the price of petroleum products, the process of operating electric transport has also moved forward. ”
The federation has demanded that the arrival of Indian trucks in Nepal should be arranged, timely increase in fares of petroleum products should be increased, truck park should be arranged in Kathmandu Valley, the problem should be eased after the accident and unnecessary inconvenience caused to the security forces during the investigation should be removed. For some of the workers, the budget has been allocated for an orientation program with the security forces on ‘How to drive’, ”said Dahal.
Stating that there is a problem of land for truck park in Kathmandu, he informed that an initiative is being taken for a well-organized truck park in Hetauda. The General Convention will select a new working committee of the 21-member federation.
