The Narayangarh-Muglin road, which was blocked due to the landslide, has resumed operation. According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the two-way road was reopened this morning after the landslide at Ichchakamana-6, Topekhola, Chitwan. The road near Aabukhaireni Gaonpalika-4 Powerhouse has come into operation in both directions since Monday evening.
When the road was washed away on Friday, only one-way traffic was operating. On Friday and Saturday, all vehicles will be banned from 7 pm to 5 am. Vehicles have been operating at night since Sunday. Police said that two-way vehicles have been operated as the two-and-a-half meter wall has been cut. The first three meters of the road was washed away and now the road has been cut to two and a half meters and the road has become five and a half meters. It is said that the risk is still there despite the operation of two-way transport. Although the passenger vehicles are operated in two directions, the cargo vehicles are operated in one way only.
